Our Beliefs

Check out some basic faith positions that we have as a church.

  • Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is at the center of everything. We believe that He is the only begotten Son of God, truly God and truly man, who alone can reconcile us to God by grace through faith in His finished work on the cross. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, was punished on the cross for our sins, and rose again to give salvation to all who believe and trust in Him as Lord and Savior, believing He is coming back again as He promised.

  • The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

  • The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s faithful Word, which portrays a trustworthy view of humanities need for a savior while confirming Jesus Christ’s ability to be a sufficient savior. Thus, God’s Word is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

  • Sin

Sin is an action born out of a condition that all humanity is born into, which results in a separated us from God and His purpose for our lives. All sin is an expression of selfishness and pride that rejects God’s Word and will. The only way one can have their sins forgiven and be set free from the power and penalty of sin is by repenting of their sins and recognizing Jesus Christ as both savior and Lord.

  • Born Again - Regeneration

We believe that to receive forgiveness and a fresh start with God, we must repent our sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to His will for our lives. From this point, the Holy Spirit restores our dignity in Christ Jesus and empowers believers to grow in Christlikeness as we surrender to the convictions and corrections found in God’s Word.

  • The Church

The Church is the hope of the world as it is to be a loving community that reflects the love of Christ, which points others to saving faith in Jesus. The essence of the church is to be a body of believers who build each other up rather than simply showing up to spectate services in a building.
